Terms of service
Sliced.org is an online recruitment service platform (the “Service”) where users can search and find job opportunities provided by Sliced.org’s clients. As part of the Service, Sliced.org helps its clients find and connect with suitable employee or freelancer candidates in their field of operation.
Use of the Service
You have a right to use the Service during the term of the Agreement and in accordance with these Terms.
When registering to the Service, you agree to provide true, accurate and complete information as prompted by the registration form and update such information when required.
You undertake not to and may not cause or permit others to use the Service for any purpose other than as specifically provided in the Service and these Terms. Misuse of the Service may lead to termination, suspension or denial of access to the Service.
Your account is personal. You undertake to ensure the security of any access credentials and passwords used for accessing the Service. You agree to inform Sliced.org immediately if you suspect that the security of your account has been compromised or if you suspect any unauthorized use or access of your account.
You agree that you have the sole responsibility for all decisions made by you regarding any positions listed in the Service and any consequences of applying to such positions. You will independently decide on applying to any position. Sliced.org does not guarantee any successful recruitment.
Any employment or freelancer agreement will be negotiated and concluded directly between you and the relevant client. Sliced.org will not be a party to any such agreement.
Intellectual property rights; User Content
Sliced.org reserves all copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in and to the Service and all content on the Service. You only have the limited right to use the Service in a manner and form offered to you by Sliced.org from time to time.
You retain all rights to your User Content submitted to Sliced.org. You must ensure that your User Content does not infringe any rights of third parties or any applicable law. You grant Sliced.org a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free and sub-licensable right to use and reproduce your User Content, all to the extent necessary for the operation of the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without express or implied warranty or condition of any kind.
Sliced.org may at any time make changes to the Service or any of its features or functionalities. Sliced.org also reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, functions and features of the Service, with or without notice, all without liability to you, except where prohibited by law, for any interruption, modification, or discontinuation of the Service or any of its features or functionalities.
Limitation of liability
Neither party shall be liable to the other party for any loss of profit, business or goodwill or loss caused as a result of interruptions in business or any other indirect damages arising under these Terms or in connection with your access to and use of the Service. This limitation shall not apply in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence or infringement of third-party rights.
Sliced.org may terminate the Agreement and suspend your access to the Service at any time, including in the event of your actual or suspected unauthorized use of the Service or non-compliance with these Terms.
You may terminate the Agreement and cease using the Service at any time by written notice to Sliced.org. If you terminate the Agreement and cease using the Service, Sliced.org will delete your User Content.
If Sliced.org or you terminate the Agreement, or if Sliced.org suspends your access to the Service, Sliced.org shall have no liability or responsibility towards you, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law.
Changes and assignment
Sliced.org reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms, at any time. It is your responsibility to periodically check these Terms for changes. Changes will be notified to all users on the front page of the Service and will become effective within 30 days after the notice. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of changes will imply that you accept and agree to the changes.
Sliced.org may assign its rights or obligations hereunder in whole or in part to an affiliate or a successor or to a purchaser or acquirer of its business assets without your prior consent.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of Finland.
Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination or validity thereof, shall be finally settled by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Finland Chamber of Commerce. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The seat of arbitration shall be Helsinki, Finland.
